Who is God calling? – All people everywhere!
In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.” Acts 17:30,31
“Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear. Isaiah 45:22,23
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being-” Acts 17:26-28
What is God calling them to? – Salvation through His Son – Jesus
Deliverance, and forgiveness from sin and its consequences, to be brought about by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
God is calling ALL PEOPLE out of sin, to be conformed to the likeness of Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
When is He doing it? – Today, right now! Will you come along? Will you say “Yes” to God?
What are the consequences for saying, “No,” or “No thank you,” or “not really interested?”
“-when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed.”
II Thessalonians 1:7-10
So what must we do to avoid God’s punishment?
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. ”

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. ”
